These Terms of Use govern your use of ToolPage (toolpage.dev), a collection of browser-based web tools operated by AI-Regenesis Ltd ("we", "us", "our"). By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
1. What ToolPage is
ToolPage offers free online utilities — an IP checker, JSON formatter, UUID generator, browser diagnostic, and others — delivered as static web pages you run entirely in your own browser. We don't require accounts or payment, and every tool is free to use.
2. Your right to use the service
Subject to these terms, you may use ToolPage for any lawful personal, educational, or commercial purpose. No licence fee, credit, or permission is required.
3. Acceptable use
When using ToolPage you agree not to:
- Use the site in a way that breaks any applicable law in the UK, the EU, or your own country.
- Scrape or systematically harvest pages or outputs at a rate that disrupts service for other users.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or circumvent any security measures protecting the site.
- Use the tools to harm, deceive, or violate the rights of others — for example, generating credentials you do not own, creating QR codes intended for phishing, or cracking systems without authorisation.
- Frame or rehost the site in a way that misrepresents authorship.
4. Content you provide
The tools process inputs — JSON, text, microphone audio, camera video, passwords, and similar — locally in your browser. We do not receive, store, or transmit what you paste, type, record, or capture. See our Privacy Policy for detail.
You retain ownership of whatever you put into the tools. By using them you do not grant us any rights over your content.
5. Our content and intellectual property
All code, text, images, and design on ToolPage are owned by AI-Regenesis Ltd, licensed from third parties, or released under an open-source licence (for example, the vendored QR code library by Kazuhiko Arase, MIT). You may view, share, and link to the site, but you may not republish the content as your own.
6. No warranty
ToolPage is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not warrant that:
- the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of defects;
- the tools will produce results correct for any particular purpose;
- information shown (such as your IP address, browser details, or password-strength estimate) is accurate, complete, or current.
You use the tools at your own risk and should verify anything important through authoritative sources.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, AI-Regenesis Ltd is not liable for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, ToolPage.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for:
- death or personal injury caused by our negligence;
- fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;
- any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under UK or EU consumer protection law.
8. Availability and changes
We may add, remove, or modify tools at any time. We may update these terms from time to time; significant changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
9. Third-party links
ToolPage may link to external sites (for example, vendor documentation). We are not responsible for the content or practices of those sites.
10. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. You and we submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales for any dispute, save that if you are a consumer resident in an EU member state, nothing in this clause affects your statutory consumer rights or your right to bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence.
